Al Nabawi Mosque

Al Nabawi Mosque in Medina, is the second holiest mosque in Islam and mosques in the world's second largest after the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca. This is the final place of the Prophet Muhammad.

One of the most important features of Green Dome site through the middle of the mosque, where the tomb of Muhammad located. It is not really known when it was built but the green dome manuscripts dating to the early 12th century to explain the dome. This is known as the Dome Prophet or the Green Dome. The site was originally the home of Muhammad, he settled there after the Hijra (emigration) to Medina, later building a mosque in yard. He himself shared in the heavy construction work. The original mosque is an open-air building. Basic building plans have been adopted in building mosques around the world.
