Petit Palais (Small Palace)

Petit Palais (Small Palace) is a very famous museum in Paris, France. This museum displays a remarkable collection of paintings and sculpture. And museum was built in 1900 for the Universal Exposition of Charles Girault's designs, now houses the City of Paris Museum of Fine Arts (Musée des Beaux-Arts de la ville de Paris). This museum has one of the buildings display a remarkable and beautiful. Arranged around a courtyard and garden octi-circular, similar to the Grand Palais palace nearby. Ionic columns, a large terrace and the dome of the Invalides echoing across the river. Tympanum depict the city of Paris is surrounded by thoughtful work of sculptor Jean Antoine Injalbert.

In this museum there is a large collection of paintings of the famous and historic. Among them are as follows: Dutuit of medieval and Renaissance paintings, drawings and objets d'art; Collection Tuck 18th-century furniture and the City of Paris collection of paintings. As well as the works of famous painters such as Rembrandt, Rubens, Nicolas Poussin, Claude Gellée, Fragonard, Hubert Robert, Greuze and the remarkable collection of paintings of the 19th century.
